Q: A newspaper received the following employment ad: “Looking to re-enter the work force? Use your communication and nurturing skills with our clients of all ages.” Is this wording okay?

A: No. This language could be read to show a preference based on age and/or gender. It is always better to describe the position – and not the potential applicant.
