PNA, Sept. 4
PNA welcomes Abigail Ketchum as membership manager
The PNA is proud to welcome back Abigail Ketchum – this time as our membership manager. In her new role, she will act as the association’s membership ambassador. Ketchum will specifically focus on developing business partnerships and creating new member programs to benefit PNA members.
Abigail is actually serving her second tenure at the PNA. She first began work here in March 2006 as the publications assistant in the communication department. At the time, her main duties were as reporter and photographer for PNA’s print and online publications. Most recently, Abigail worked as a special publications assistant at The Patriot-News in Harrisburg, where she coordinated the efforts of several departments in order to produce the newspaper’s special sections and niche publications.
Abigail is excited to be in a new role but also one that's surrounded by familiar faces -- both here at the association and in the membership. "It’s great to be back at the PNA," she said. "I look forward to working with all of our members in hopes of making our membership program aggressive and innovative."
Abigail’s journalism career began during her time spent reporting for the Elizabethtown Chronicle – her hometown newspaper. Before that she worked in the news department of an Alabama television station.
Abigail has a bachelor’s degree from The University of South Alabama in Mobile, Ala. She currently resides in Harrisburg with her fiancé, his two children and a giant dog named Pixie.
Feel free to call or e-mail Abigail at (717) 703-3067 or abigailk@pa-news.org.
