Sensenig named editor of Oxford Tribune
Michelle A. Sensenig has been named editor of the Oxford Tribune, publisher Shelley Meenan has announced.
"With Michelle's background and determination to succeed, she is the perfect person to fill this position," Meenan said. "She's detail-oriented and self-motivated. Readers can expect an immediate improvement in the Oxford Tribune."
Sensenig graduated Cum Laude from Temple University in May. She majored in English.
She interned at Philadelphia Weekly newspaper, where she was involved with layout, pitching stories, and fact-checking, among other things. She was a contributing writer for Grape Street Club Web site where she wrote weekly reviews.
She was also a staff member of Hyphen Literary Magazine, editing, proofreading and performing layout for the magazine's 2006 edition.
She is a published writer and even had poems published in 2005 in American Poets Society.
Sensenig is an English tutor and tutored students in linguistics and grammar courses.
She and reporter Rachel Pilgren will cover events occurring in the Oxford School District.
