Paddock named managing editor of Times Observer
Eric Paddock, the longtime city editor of the (Warren) Times Observer, has been named the newspaper's managing editor.
Paddock replaced Jude Dippold, who left the paper on Dec. 30 to accept a position with Blair Corp.
Paddock, a 35-year newspaper veteran, joined the Times Observer in 1990. He had worked at The Bradford Era and at newspapers in Maryland.
"Eric Paddock has proven himself in the past with his experience, judgment and talent," publisher John Elchert said. "I am excited and happy to have Eric lead our news operation."
