Statewide public notice site, MyPublicNotices.com, to undergo upgrade
Our statewide public notice Web site is about to get a major upgrade. MyPublicNotices.com (MPN) needs a little cooperation from PNA members to make the site’s transformation successful.
Starting Feb. 1, 2006, newspapers will upload their public notices to a new Web address. MPN is in the process of sending address change instructions to each newspaper.
PNA encourages newspaper managers and staff to watch for this information and to make the minor, local changes that are necessary, effective Feb. 1.
PNA members and their customers will immediately recognize the benefits of the new public notice site: a more attractive appearance, better search tools, a more secure and reliable computer platform and around-the-clock support services for newspapers, advertisers and readers.
Newspapers that enhance their own Web sites by joining MPN’s new affiliate program will especially benefit from the transformation of the statewide site. However, a newspaper that is not a paid affiliate of MPN may still participate. PNA encourages all its members to send their public notice ads to MPN for posting on the site.
If you have any comments or questions about the forthcoming address change, the new site or MPN’s affiliate program, please contact Brian Gottlieb, MPN’s general manager, at (717) 991-2823, or briang@mypublicnotices.com.
