Williamsport Sun-Gazette editor Ogurcak takes over as director of Little League museum. 

Janice L. Ogurcak, an editor at the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, has taken over as director of the Peter J. McGovern Little League Museum.

Ogurcak will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, maintenance of artifacts, rotation of exhibits, special events and educational programs, among other things at the museum, which has about 30,000 visitors a year.

The announcement was made Jan. 18 by Stephen D. Keener, president and chief executive officer of Little Baseball and Softball.

Ogurcak joined the newspaper's editorial staff in 1977 and was named lifestyle editor in 1990.
