From MergeDigital.com and Paper Clips, April 2005
Merge tabloid hits the streets.
On March 30, The Morning Call published the first printed edition of its free, weekly (Wed.) tabloid, Merge. The tabloid, which focuses on an 18-34 age group, started as a digital publication, MergeDigital.com, launched in December 2004.
Merge is a place for young people to share ideas and find out what's going on in Southeastern Pennsylvania. The publication focuses on alternative music, news, movies, dining, health, outdoors, shopping and more. Local people who represent the diversity of the area produce the community-contributed content on the Web site and some of the Merge print content. The reviews and listing information are honest and original and come from people with a variety of perspectives and experiences.
Merge gives you easy access to the latest trends, entertainment news, and everything you want to know about local people, places and events. Its online database of more than 4,000 venues and hundreds of upcoming events provides a comprehensive listing of what is happening in the greater Lehigh Valley region.
