PNA offers new workers' comp insurance program with the Gleason Agency

The Pennsylvania Newspaper Association offers a wide range of affinity programs that are beneficial to members.  These programs are designed to assist you in finding the most competitive rates and services that are essential to your business.  Click here for a complete list and description of our affinity programs.

PMA, our affinity partner for Workers’ Compensation insurance, has declined to renew the PNA policy effective Dec. 1.  The number of participants in the PNA program has dropped in recent years, mostly as a result of increased corporate ownership of Pennsylvania papers.

However, PNA is excited to announce that we have a new affinity partner for Workers’ Compensation Insurance.  The Gleason Agency, in Johnstown, with offices in Philadelphia, Harrisburg, and Pittsburgh, is a leading, independently-owned property and casualty insurance broker which develops and manages customized insurance, risk management, employee retirement, and benefits programs.  Their full-service organization ranks in the top 150 in size among all insurance brokers across the country and remains one of the industry's most well respected independent insurance organizations.  For more background on the Gleason Agency, visit their web site at www.gleasonagency.com

The Gleason Agency has started scheduling appointments with current participants in the PNA program.  After the initial meeting, The Gleason Agency will compile all the data they require to formulate a quote, which should be presented to members no later than Mid-November.

While initially, the Gleason Agency will be will be contacting the PNA members that currently participate in our Workers’ Compensation program, all other PNA members are encouraged to participate.

For more information on PNA’s Workers’ Compensation program or any other affinity program, contact Denise Ott, marketing and membership director at PNA (717) 703-3067.
